The first ever Hudson Valley International Film Festival that took place at the beautiful new Town of Monroe Arts and Civic Center last year was a huge success and filmmakers came from as far as Paris, France. We are trying to make this into a unique festival with big rewards for filmmakers and participants. Sixty-five films were played in the three stadium style theaters and comedians, music, poetry slams, Q&A’s and other activities were in the remaining three theaters. After parties every night, great food, beer and wine. Several thousand attended and we are making it even bigger and better this year. This is not a quiet festival, be ready to party! The Hudson Valley International Film Festival is a lifestyle that celebrates an interactive and contemporary experience, which will inspire, challenge, and enlighten viewers and participants alike. Filmmakers are welcome to submit shorts, pilots, features, music videos, animations, and much more! The HVIFF is the haven for free thinkers, innovators, and pioneers of the arts community.
